No, there can only be one Constancia per item. In order to make sure we are issuing the correct Constancia, we need to follow the harmonized tariff code that will be provided by the importer. There are situations where there an item could be interrupted that it needs to be compliant with more than one set of labeling regulations. For these situations, TechLink makes sure that the sell unit package/instruction manual complies with all sets of possible labeling regulations.

Yes. Any item that can be plugged into a wall or has an adapter included requires testing. One complete sample is required and it needs to be sent to Mexico for testing.

TechLink International is required to request a power of attorney for all NOM001 or NOM003 processes. At the beginning of the project, we need to issue a power of attorney request with your buyer with the following information: Brand, Model number, and country of origin. There are items that do not have a brand and for these items, Costco Wholesale Corporation would be considered the brand. It is imperative that this information becomes available at the beginning of the project since it takes almost two weeks for Costco to generate an official document.
Yes, In addition to the same information needed for a labeling compliance project, TechLink requires a complete sample, and information in to request a power of attorney. The request procedure would be the same for a NOM0001/NOM003. In order to simplify this procedure, please complete the testing NOM checklist to make sure TechLink receives everything required so your project can be processed as quick as possible.
