Wal-Mart’s 3700 stores in the U.S. have tens of thousands of their consumer products carrying bilingual English-Spanish product labels to appeal to the rapidly growing Spanish-speaking consumer population in the U.S. Wal-Mart and Costco’s Mexican and Canadian stores also use English-Spanish and English-French retail-compliant packaging for products sold in their stores. TechLink International has been working with retail packaging compliance and desktop publishing since 1997. FTP

For files larger than 5MB, we recommend you use our FTP server for file transfers. If you would like us to use your own FTP server to transfer files, please contact us with your login information.

To use TECHLINK INTERNATIONAL’s FTP site, please contact us for the following login information:

• HostName
• UserID
• Password

To connect to our FTP server, two options are available to you once you receive the FTP login information from us:

• Use your web browser: To do this, in the address bar of your web browser, type in:
ftp://UserID:Password@HostName.
• Use FTP software: Key in “Host Name”, “User ID” and “Password” as required in the selected FTP software and hit “Connect”.

Once you log in to our FTP server, you can start uploading and downloading files. In most cases, it is a simple dragging between your computer’s local folders and the online FTP folders. Please note that web browser usability may depend on your browser type and computer environment. We strongly recommend that you use FTP software, which can be either downloaded for free from the Internet or purchased from a software vendor.

For PC users, we recommend the use of FILEZILLA. The software is available free of charge from http://filezilla-project.org/. The software is very user friendly and reliable, based on our experience in using it for many years.

For Mac users, a commercially available FTP software for SmartFTP can be purchased at http://www.smartftp.com/. We have found SmartFTP to be very user friendly. SmartFTP can be downloaded for $40 (2009 Price).
